Meet our herd of 70 alpacas! We regularly have animals for sale and for alpaca owners we offer a stud service with our 8 studbook studs that are among the top in Europe.

About Stal Herfte
Our sustainable and social mission is central to everything we do: we are energy-neutral, we offer a place to people who would not get along anywhere else, and we work with local, sustainable and organic partners and products.
What started in 2018 with a few sheep and alpacas to keep the grass under Energiepark Zwolle short, has grown into a professional alpaca breeding farm with some 70 animals with which we are affiliated to the Alpaca Assocation Benelux (AAB). In our herd, we have 8 breeding stallions ranked among the top in Europe and 20 to 25 foals a year. We breed for quality, buy and sell animals and process our own wool. We actively work on biodiversity on our property and on the welfare of our animals.

Energieneutraal
Sustainability is not an afterthought for us but a starting point. The Herfte stable is completely energy-neutral and is part of Energiepark Zwolle. This is how we link animal husbandry to sustainable energy and a minimal ecological footprint.
